The singer reportedly gave away another whopping wad of cash, and this time the lucky recipients are all the students who attend a New York City public school. It's all thanks to her new single, "Welcome to New York," that is totally about her love for the city.
All of this makes sense because Taylor was also just named the Big Apple's Global Welcome Ambassador. She's apparently doing all of this as an awesome way to celebrate that accomplishment.
"Taylor JUST ANNOUNCED that she's donating ALL of her proceeds from #WelcomeToNewYork to New York City Public Schools!!! #TaylorOnTheView," one fan posted on Twitter.
It looks like she'll be giving away the proceeds she makes from the NYC single to the kids. Pretty awesome of her, right?
Oh and take that Rhode Island! We bet you regret giving her a hard time for building that mansion now, eh? Just kidding...sort of.
