Macklemore Is the Latest Victim of a Celeb Death Hoax

MONACO-MUSIC-FESTIVALMacklemore is still alive and kicking in spite of a death hoax that tried to fake kill him off.



The "Can't Hold Us" rapper became the latest victim of a celebrity death hoax after #RIPMacklemore started trending on Twitter Thursday morning, according to Gossip Cop, sending his fans into an understandable frenzy.



The hoax was not only just a hashtag, but it also came with a faux TMZ post, which read "Macklemore Dead at 31 In Fiery Car Crash." Thankfully though, Macklemore was just fine, and he was tweeting too, proving his mortality.



Although Macklemore hasn't addressed the hoax, he did dish on how sad he and Ryan Lewis were that their latest show wouldn't be happening, tweeting, "South Africa... We are super bummed about @TribeOneFest being canceled. We were really looking forward to it! Info http://ift.tt/1lf4RpS ."



Macklemore is just the latest star who has been victim to a death hoax, joining the likes of Justin Bieber, Lil' Wayne, Zayn Malik.
