Why Is Selena Gomez Thanking God for Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield?

Who knew Selena Gomez admired Emma Stone ?



The Behaving Badly star made sure to give the Amazing Spider-Man 2 starlet and her boyfriend Andrew Garfield major props on Instagram when she posted a shot of herself and friends blocking their faces with charity-emblazoned signs.



"Thank God for Emma and Andrew. What are you up to on your Sunday folks?," she captioned the shot, which showed her clad in a bathing suit (and showing off some cleavage) as she held up a "Unicefusa.org" sign.



So what is she talking about exactly? Emma and Andrew famously outsmarted the paparazzi twice by doing the exact same thing (minus the swimwear), when they promoted their charities by holding handwritten signs in front of their faces.



"Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside. And so we thought, let's try this again. We don't need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do ---," Emma's sign read, when they made the move in June.

They did the same thing back in September 2012 when they realized they were being photographed as they grabbed lunch in NYC.



Selena isn't the only one who took a page from the lovebirds. Anne Hathaway and her hubby Adam Shulman also did when they copied the trick in July.
