Tay and actress Jaime King gathered a group of willing participants and said they'd donate $100 each as well as on behalf of everyone in the video to raise money for amyotrophic lateral sclerossis, a devastating neurological disorder better known as Lou Gehrig's disease, prior to getting their Frozen on.
It's no surprise that the pop-country princess' reaction to the blisteringly cold soak was ultra-dramatic. The girl takes one breakup and turns it into an album, for crying out loud! But it's still hilarious to see.
If you don't know how this all works, after completing the challenge, you have to nominate someone else to do the same within 24 hours, or else that person has to donate $100 to the cause. As you can see, some people do both. Tay nominated BFFs Selena Gomez , Emma Stone and Ed Sheeran .
Twenty four hours came and went, so we're guessing Emma and Ed avoided the momentary freeze and happily forked over the cash. But good ol' Sel accepted the challenge from bestie "T-Swizzie," as she called her, and Ryan Seacrest , who also nominated her. Sel said her whole team is donating. Nice!
Sel's face isn't as dramatic as Tay's, but she does scream as she runs away from the icy shower.
