The 35-year-old actress and her daughter Suri Cruise , reportedly purchased a home in the exclusive 'The Oaks' neighborhood of Calabasas.
According to TMZ, Katie purchased the 6,000 square foot home for $3,795,000 in a top secret deal that had a $1 million penalty for anyone who opened their mouth about it.
The site claims that Katie made the move because it was a better neighborhood for Suri to grow up in and it put her in closer proximity to Hollywood, which will make her commute much easier for any future film or TV roles.
Being 8 years old, Suri clearly knew that finally having a yard would give her the perfect "can I get a dog?" leverage and she's already picked out a chihuahua from a local rescue shelter, which she's named "Maple."
Katie, Suri and Maple will be in good company in her new 'hood. Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian both live in the same community and Kris Jenner lives just a few short minutes away.
Justin Bieber used to live there, too, but he wasn't as suited for the suburbs.
