5 Seconds of Summer Planning Naked MTV VMAs Performance? Don't Tease Us, Guys

We're beyond excited to see 5 Seconds of Summer perform at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, but this little tease from 5SOS about what to expect just upped our excitement levels to an all-time high.



What do you do when you're performing at the VM-freakin'-As? Pull out all the stops and make it memorable, a la Miley Cyrus , right? Well, it would certainly have people talking about 5SOS long after the show, we imagine.



In a little chat with MTV, the 5SOS guys dished about (teased, actually) what viewers can expect from the Aussie rockers. Michael Clifford asked, "How nude are you allowed to be at the VMAs?", while Luke Hemmings chimed in with, "like just a sock? We're just gonna wear socks."



Ashton Irwin took that ball and ran with it (clever), joking, "a singular sock."



Oh guys, we hope this isn't all a cruel joke.
