Taylor Swift is always ready for her close-up! The "Sweeter Than Fiction" singer, 24, stepped out in New York City on Tuesday, June 17, looking picture-perfect, even after a trip to the gym.
Swift was spotted all done-up while leaving Manhattan's ModelFIT gym. The chart-topping crooner wore an asymmetrical light blue collared blouse over a pair of cropped black pants.
Lest she be seen in sneakers and without makeup, Swift slipped on a pair of round-toe pumps and sported her signature red lipstick and winged eyeliner. The singer also tied a black-and-white gingham headband into her hair.
Swift may have resorted to the headband after a recent string of hair accessory losses. "It's crazy to think about how many countries I've lost hair ties in," she tweeted on June 4.
An insider tells Us Weekly that Swift has been working out at ModelFIT with a trainer whom she was connected to by supermodel pal Karlie Kloss. "She really wants that model body," the source added.
Since the end of her Red Tour earlier this month, Swift's exercise is taking up a chunk of her schedule. Kloss told Us on June 2 that Swift has "no time for boys!"
Swift has long been vocal about the importance of fitness in her life. In 2009, she spilled to Allure magazine, "Basically, if I’m indulging too much and not exercising enough, I can feel that. I can feel a change before I see it. For me, working out is not so I can stay skinny. It’s so that I can keep up my endurance so I’m not panting on stage. Heavy breathing is the worst when you’re in concert. You don’t want to see that, if you’re going to see a show."
She added to WebMD in December 2012, "I like to feel really tired afterward, sweaty and disgusting. I don't care about losing weight as much as feeling good about myself. You can't indulge without exercising, so I exercise because I love eating and I don't want to have to live without anything. But I also exercise because on the occasional days when I'm feeling low, it always makes me feel better."
