Louis Tomlinson is masterminding a money-making scheme to get his football club earning big bucks.

The One Direction star plans to use his boy band status to bag his club lots of dosh through things like pre-match photos and all sorts of other promotional gimmicks.

He hopes that his plans will boost club earnings by a whopping £123,500 and aims to make £2million.

Some of his ideas include giving supporters the chance to be mascot for £200, take part in a half-time freekick challenge for £300 and if you have a spare £12,000 you can book a match day VIP box.

There will be opportunities for fans to hire the box at Rovers’ Keepmoat Stadium which would include a ten-minute chat with Louis, pictures and autographs.

Louis Tomlinson officially completed his takeover of Doncaster Rovers last week.

It's pretty much a dream come true for 1D's Louis, who is a life-long Doncaster fan and John Ryan (former chairman of the club) expressed his excitment at the deal last week.

He said: "It's done, the takeover is complete. This will sprinkle some stardust on Doncaster Rovers. Hopefully it will make the Doncaster public proud of their club. I’d urge the people of the town to get behind us.

"This is an incredible project that will generate some really exciting times. What I really want is the people of Doncaster to come and enjoy that ride with us.”
