Demi Lovato paid tribute to her father on the one year anniversary of his death with a sweet Twitter message and throwback pics of herself as a little girl with her dad, in happier times.
Last year, Demi's dad died and while they hadn't been the closest, she honored his life by helping others with the Lovato Treatment Scholarship, which pays for the cost of treatment for mental illness.
Demi tweeted: "Can't believe it's already been a year.. Wish I could've hugged you one last time.. RIP Daddy, I love you."
She added, "My dad suffered from severe mental illness so at least there's peace in knowing he's not suffering anymore."
