Channing Tatum covers the latest issue of GQ, and the accompanying article is totally amazing and completely candid. We learn so many things about the Magic Mike star, like that he had an imaginary BFF until third grade.
"His name was Boy," Channing explains, adding he would save him a seat at dinner: "'Don't sit here! Boy's sitting here.' I would make a plate for him and all that. Crazy behavior."
The actor also confesses to having a huge sweet tooth and "an inner fat kid in me." His favorite cake is confetti cake with Funfetti icing. "I just love cake," he admits. "I can completely lose myself into just absolutely satisfying things--a really amazing cheeseburger, a pizza, good fries, a beer. I enjoy being comfortable and eating whatever the hell I want."
Channing, who has a daughter with Jenna Dewan Tatum, also really enjoys his booze. "I'm probably a pretty high-functioning, I guess, you know, I would say, alcoholic, I guess," he hedges. "There's probably a tendency to escape. I equate it to creativity, and I definitely equate it to having a good time."
But he'll ditch the drinking for four months so he can look great shirtless while they make the Magic Mike sequel. "Then, at the end of that movie, it's go time," he concludes. Are you surprised that Channing's so open about loving to drink and eating so much junk food?
