One Direction fame obviously has its benefits – but the guys also shared recently that there are some downfalls when it comes to the fan mania surrounding 1D.
For sure, security and bodyguards are in full force during their Where We Are tour, but all the fan love makes things complicated, as Liam said he missed "being outside." He told The Herald Sun: "There are that many fans at the hotel, the cars can't go anywhere without being followed. I miss going outside quite a lot. It literally is from the plane to the car to the hotel to the venue."
As for the fainting fans and sometimes dangerous situations a screaming crowd can get into, Niall said, "It can get scary for us to keep on performing while you are watching a girl get pulled out of the front row and carried out. It's not nice to watch. You just want to tell them to relax, we are going to be here for the next hour and a half."
