Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber aren't the only two young celebrities buying pricey pads these days. Taylor Swift just smacked down a whopping $20 million on TWO apartments in New York City.
According to Celebuzz.com, the "Red" singer began looking for a house in The Big Apple a few months ago. Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson put his two NYC apartments in an 11-unit building on the market last May for $20 million and, according to official property records, he finally sold them to a mystery buyer last month. He put them on the market for $14.85 million and $5.1 million. Records show that both homes were sold on the same day for $19.95 million to one mystery buyer, rumoured to be T-Swift herself.
Taylor currently owns homes in Rhode Island, Nashville, and Beverly Hills. She's also reportedly looking for a place in London too.
Taylor isn't the only star to pay big bucks for a new house. Her kind of BFF Selena just bought a mansion in Calabasas and Justin is looking for a place in Atlanta and England. Must be nice to be THAT loaded, right?
