Forget that bridal shower. What happens when Taylor Swift crashes a baby announcement?
Just ask Nate and Erica Eaton from Richmond, Va. who used one of T-Swift's hit songs to tell their family and friends they were expecting their second child.
Nate Eaton, who is a reporter for a TV station in Richmond, likes to make videos of all the couple's life events and for this one, he was initially set on a rap video. Because she really loves T-Swift, they eventually settled on the singer's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" tune for their new baby video.
"We are having, having, having another baby," the couple sings in the put-together video on YouTube. Some of their other lyrics include, "I remember when we had a baby, the first time/Saying this is it, I've had enough/'Cause like, we hadn't slept an hour in a month."
Nate and Erica just welcomed their first child just 10 months before getting pregnant again. "We weren't planning on having another baby quite so soon," Erica said during an interview with the Today Show.
"The day we found out, I think my husband almost had a heart attack. He is usually pretty vocal about everything, but he had no words that day. I think I burst into tears."
As for how long it took them to tape the whole thing? They needed two hours to come up with the lyrics and then a day to shoot the video.
