Justin Bieber proclaimed on Instagram 'everyone has someone they look up to' in a snap showing a group of small children watching him play a dance video game.
The irony of the statement appeared to be lost on the troubled pop star, whose DUI charges and graffiti antics have made headlines around the world.
The 20-year-old can be seen in the memento, posted on Saturday, playing Dance Dance Revolution Extreme in an arcade.
In the black and white social media memento, Bieber sports a snap back cap, a T-shirt, and baggy trousers as he nimbly displays his swift footwork in the arcade game.
Surrounding him are well over half a dozen young boys who appear to be transfixed by the star's dexterity in the athletic video game.
Meanwhile, Bieber's criminal defense attorney has denied that prosecutors have offered a plea deal in the troubled star's Miami DUI case.
Roy Black - whose previous high-profile cases have included defending the likes of William Kennedy Smith and Joe Francis to name a few - has told RadarOnline that no plea deal was offered and thus his legal team is 'vigorously preparing' for the upcoming trial.
'The state has not offered any plea deal. The judge asked in court yesterday if an offer had been extended and the prosecutor said no,' he confirms.
'All I can say is that the case is set for trial and we are preparing for it.'
Bieber faces charges of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license - charges he has pleaded not guilty to.
The trial date has been set for May 5, with the star to front court in Florida.
Meanwhile, Bieber's bodyguard Hugo Hesney was denied access to Canada when he accompanied the star on a recent trip, according to TMZ.
The block reportedly stems from felony charges the bodyguard faces in two separate assault cases involving photographers attempting to snap candid shots of the star.
Hesney, according to a deposition given by Bieber in one of the assault cases, is not only a guard but a trusted advisor to the pop star.
