Kevin and Danielle Jonas‘ daughter is just about to turn 2-months-old, but she’s already got a really chic room to hang out in.
Alena Rose Jonas, born Feb. 2, has a deep blue playroom with the word “PLAY” on the wall in big blue letters! The room was designed by Vanessa Antonelli of NessaLee Baby, and cost the couple $14,000.
“We wanted a fun and creative room where she can play around and make a mess,” Kevin tells the mag, on newsstands now.
They may want her to make a mess, but we wouldn’t! It’s such a gorgeous room, who would ever want to see it dirty?!
“It was important that is was a separate room next to the kitchen and not in the basement, so she is close to the family,” Kevin continued. Such a smart move!
Kevin and Danielle may be new parents, but they really sound like they know what they are doing.
Danielle Explains Why They Chose Blue For Alena
Some may be surprised that Kevin and Danielle decided on a blue playroom for their daughter, since most parents would go with pink. However, Danielle wanted something non-traditional.
“It’s a real modern twist on a girlie playroom,” Danielle told the magazine. “We liked using nontraditional girlie colors and the added touch of the bird theme.”
It’s a really awesome twist, because the playroom definitely has a chic twist.
