Taylor Swift might already have thousands of male admirers but it looks like the songstress has one more to add to her already crowded list, only this one believes he has what it takes to be the singer's leading man.
Nick Goepper, who will compete for the US in the freestyle skiiing at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, revealed that not only does he have a huge crush on the star but that they've also met in the past.
"I was actually just at the Golden Globes and me and Taylor got to hang out briefly," the 19-year-old athlete gushed to E! News.
According to Nick, the encounter left him feeling that there was something there between the two as they chatted for a little while.
Describing the experience as "awesome", Nick added: "I mean she was with her entourage but took the time to just kind of break away and chat with me for a minute. It was nice, I feel like we kind of connected."
And could their encounter spark more meetings in the future?
"She invited me to Rhode Island for a weekend," Goepper said, before a brief pause. "No, I'm just kidding," he quipped.
For those of you hoping to bag a date with Nick for yourselves, the skiier has revealed what he looks for in a partner. He likes blondes who are "athletic, spontaneous, energetic and not afraid to do new stuff."
Despite her countless admirers, Taylor recently revealed to The Daily Star Sunday that it was being in the exact opposite situation when she was younger that encouraged her to write songs.
The 22 singer admitted that she started making music out of loneliness. "I started writing songs because I wasn't invited to parties and sleep-overs. I wasn't noticed by the guy I like."
