Rihanna and Shakira's new single has finally debuted!
After the singers surprised fans by announcing the news of their upcoming duet last week, the duo released the new song, "Can't Remember to Forget You" Monday.
"Today is the day! Are you ready? #CantRememberToForgetYou @Rihanna ShakHQ," Shakira tweeted.
Here it is now!! #CantRemembertoForgetYou @OnAirWithRyan @RyanSeacrest, Rihanna tweeted, after Shakira debuted the song on Ryan Seacrest's radio morning show Monday morning.
And the song took off immediately, quickly landing in the #1 spot on iTunes in Colombia and Barbados, Shakira wrote on Twitter.

The song, which is a mix of Shakira and Rihanna's Latin and reggae music roots, is about not being able to let go of a man no matter how hard you try.
"You know, we're both from the Caribbean, so I always thought we had that common ground, but this song is pretty reggae," Shakira told Seacrest. "I honestly thought it would never happen, but she heard the record and she loved it and she said she was onboard and I was the happiest girl alive. To shoot the video with her has been a blast."
