Anne Hathaway's Hawaiian vacation took a scary turn when she got caught in a riptide while swimming in the ocean.
After hanging out on the shore with her hubby Adam Shulman Wednesday, The Les Miserables star hopped into the ocean to take a quick dip...and got sucked under the water.
According to TMZ, a local surfer heard her screaming for help, saw her arms flailing and ran out to rescue her just in time.
As they headed back to shore though, Anne cut her foot on a reef and it started bleeding (talk about bad luck!).
Luckily, the actress is okay--thanks to the surfer and her hubby, who cleaned and bandaged up her toe following the incident.
Anne was later spotted posing with fans on the beach for pictures.
