We know not everyone is a Directioner, but actor William H. Macy slammed One Direction (and Harry Styles, in particular) in a recent interview and...well...not cool, Bill!
To be fair, William did begin with a compliment about the boys' talents--but their performance skills did not impress Mr. Macy.
The actor explained on Live With Kelly and Michael yesterday that he took his daughter to a 1D show (good dad), noting, "I've been in showbiz all my life, so, let me just say, those guys can sing. They are very talented."
And then the "but" moment...
He continued, "they couldn't put on a good show with a gun to their head."
Ouch.
It seems their choreography was lacking (as we all know), but also, Harry had a little snack on stage during the show, as Bill explained the 1D heartthrob was eating "a sandwich while two of his guys were singing."
"I mean call me old-fashioned, but when I'm downstage singing my heart out, you better not eat a sandwich behind me," Bill grumbled.
And don't get him started on their concert wardrobe, as William explained that they wore "crappy jeans and a stupid t-shirt", before changing into "different crappy jeans and stupid t-shirt."
Somebody's grumpy.
Perhaps William needs to be introduced to Harry's laid back style and this gem at the VMAs...public snacking isn't new with Hazza:
