Liam Payne gave fans quite a scare when a pic of him standing on his balcony ledge made the rounds online.
He reached out to fans to apologize for the dangerous stunt, taking to Twitter to admit it was a "stupid thing to do."
Liam tweeted: "You may have seen a photo of me today taken on top of a building. I regret being there and having a photo taken."
He added, "It was a stupid and irresponsible thing to do. I am sorry, and do not endorse any fans trying to repeat this, as it is extremely dangerous."
One Direction management...er...Liam...must think fans are a bit dim to do as he did, right?
The tweets sound a bit like damage control and not so much like Liam's voice, but we get the point.
Meanwhile, Liam's friend who posted the "man on a ledge" pic has apologized for sharing it with the world.
