It looks like One Direction have yet another accolade to add to their already endless collection after the boys were voted MTV's Stars of 2013 via a social media campaign.
It looks as though the boys' large fan base, or The Directioners as they prefer to be known, were 'hashtagging' away to ensure that the lads were voted number one.
1D received an impressive 40.8 million votes which saw them beat out the likes of Justin Bieber to win the crown.
Despite beating out poor old Biebs, Justin wasn't too far behind receiving a respective 40.5 million votes.
"We've just found out that you voted us top of the list for the MTV's Stars of 2013 - thank you so, so much!" said One Direction's Liam in a message to fans.
"We heard we racked up over 40 million votes. We can't believe the hard work - it must have taken you absolutely ages. Thank you so, so much!"
The competition - which ran for an entire month - managed to trend in 127 countries across the globe and registered 50,000 tweets per minute.
1D's Zayn saw his girlfriend Perrie Edwards and her girl band Little Mix also make the top ten, along with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Ke$ha and Rihanna.
The boys have already had major success with the latest release of their third studio album, Midnight Memories. The EP has already gone on to top the UK and US album charts.
The lads themselves have recently been spotted at the edge of Tower Bridge shooting some promo, which is tipped to be for the video of what could be their next single Midnight Memories.
