Niall Horan is the new celebrity face featured on Gar currency in his hometown of Mullingar, Ireland!
It was recently announced that the 20-year-old One Direction singer’s picture will be printed on the face of Mullingar’s unique tourism currency (aka Gar), which was launched in 2011.
The Mullingar Chamber hopes that by honoring Niall, it will increase the amount of tourism it sees annually.
