With the sudden swirl about Niall Horan dating Barbara Palvin, here's a little tidbit from his dear mum--she doesn't think he's ready for a serious girlfriend.
After all, navigating a relationship when you're in the most popular boyband on the planet is no easy task.
Niall's mom, Maura, told RTE (via Mirrror) of all the dating buzz, "I don't think Niall is ready yet for a serious girlfriend. He's a real happy-go-lucky lad. He wants to enjoy life and isn't ready to settle into a steady relationship as far as I know just yet."
His mum did take a realistic approach to the matter, however, sharing, "What goes on in London, stays in London."
She added, "When he has something to tell me, he'll tell me."
Maura set the record straight on Niall and the dating rumors--and how not every girl he's seen with is a girlfriend.
She explained, "He's a good gentle character himself. There are in that position where they'll meet lots of people and girls. A girl he'll go for dinner with here and to the pictures with there--but I'm not sure they are all girlfriends."
And who does mom think is the perfect match for her little boy? Niall's dream girl should have "a good laugh and a good personality. Someone that he can sit and chat and have a laugh with," she explained.
