Miley Cyrus plans a Vegas appearance the night Britney Spears opens at Planet Hollywood

She’s coming in like a wrecking ball.

Confidenti@l can exclusively reveal that Miley Cyrus will host the opening of Beacher’s Madhouse Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on Dec. 27. That’s the same Friday night Britney Spears opens her much-anticipated Vegas residency half a mile away at Planet Hollywood. It hardly seems a fair fight.

While Spears is coming off a week that saw a bizarre run of despondent interviews and the weak debut of her “Britney Jean” album, Cyrus might be the hottest commodity in pop music right now. The hardest-twerking woman in show business kicked off her weekend with yet another explosive performance at Z100’s Jingle Ball holiday concert at Madison Square Garden.

Cyrus seems a perfect fit to host the opening of the Vegas hotspot, too. The “Party in the USA” singer is already a fixture at Beacher’s L.A. flagship club, where she’s frequently perched inside the VIP “birdcage.”

It was there that Cyrus celebrated her 21st birthday in November. Cyrus also chose a Lower East Side pop-up version of the Cali club to fete the release of her album “Bangerz” in October.

We’re told she’ll be part of Beacher’s Vegas’ “late show” event celebrating the opening of the 8,500-square-foot space. While Cyrus isn’t slated to sing, a “Mini Britney” little person will make her concert debut.

The live-performance nightclub features a state-of-the-art stage where artists will do their thing in front of an LED wall. Beacher’s signature cast of little people will make their way around the room delivering bottles of booze to tables and doling out cocktails from imaginative serving stations including a telephone booth, a cannon and a statue designed to resemble an elephant’s derriere.

As Confidenti@l reported in October, Spears has expressed displeasure with the Planet Hollywood venue where she’ll be performing. Las Vegas sources told us Brit-Brit was immediately unhappy about the size and shape of the stage.

There’s no telling who’ll join Cyrus in Vegas, but the L.A. Beacher’s, which is situated inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, has hosted celebs including Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Bradley Cooper and Ashton Kutcher .

All this partying could leave Cyrus too worn down to help us out with the Times Square ball drop, though Vegas bookies would probably says odds are good she’ll come out a winner. With Spears, it’s more a question of how odd the goods will be.
