Justin Bieber is alleged to have called one of his young fans a 'beached whale' at a hotel in Perth, Australia while on his current tour.
Staying at the city's Hyatt Regency, a guest reported four girls in bikinis were at the hotel's pool when the 19-year-old pop star looked over at one of them and reportedly said: 'What are you, Hawaiian or something?'
The girl, described as being gorgeous with long dark hair and a size 14, is said to have replied, 'No, I'm not.'
Justin is then alleged to have remarked: 'You look like a beached whale!' The girl it is claimed replied, 'Are you serious?'
Justin added insult to injury by then reportedly saying: 'You should go on (weight loss reality show) The Biggest Loser!' Another guest from the hotel insists that after this outburst there was silence by the pool and it seemed as if Justin's security were used to such outbursts from him.
The girl, who was a hotel guest at the Hyatt Regency, has reported being verbally abused by Justin and that the pop star's remark had brought her to the verge of tears.
Even more hurtful is that another guest from the hotel has backed up the story adding that Justin made a gesture with his hands to indicate a large belly.
After the incident occurred the girl and her friends left the hotel's pool looking downcast and deflated, while Justin is said to have thought it was funny and was smiling to his minders nearby.
Another guest, Helen Robinett, reportedly made a formal complain to the hotel over the incident saying 'They said the girl was OK and she was a Bieber fan. She may appear OK but I work in styling and fashion, I know how women view their bodies, what body image issues women have. That kind of comment can have a serious impact and repercussion. That's why I'm so upset about it.'
Justin finished his tour in Perth over the weekend but neither he nor his management appeared to find the incident of any great concern
On Twitter he was busy promoting to his 47 million followers the last show on his Believe tour. 'The real last one and the most important one of the tour #GiveBackPhilippines'. He also went to play basketball in one of the devastated regions from the region Typhoon to show his support and give something back.
On Monday, Justin put in a call to his old friend Ryan Seacrest on his radio show for a chat. Justin said he also hopes that his new movie Believe, due out this month, will show what's really been going on behind-the-scenes in his life.
'I think (his debut film) Never Say Never showed hope and I think Believe is how you get back up when you fall down and, really, that story of what's going on behind the scenes," he told the radio/TV host.
'I think that's why a lot of stuff has been confused. I've been on tour so no one really knows what I'm doing out here,' he declared. 'People don't get to see me living as a 19-year-old boy. I'm still finding myself and when I have the media attacking me every day, it's no [different] than bullying that happens in school.'
He then went on to add that his new movie will 'really shows who I am as a person. I make mistakes growing up. I'm not perfect; I'm not a robot. People forget I'm a human being...I have to make mistakes and grow stronger.'
In a lighter moment, Justin also joked that with his constant flashing of his abs he is 'trying to be like young Marky Mark with my shirt of all the time.' As for his ever-increasing sea of tattoos on his body he insisted his arms are pretty much filled up now.
'It's a way to express myself a little bit,' he insisted. 'I design them myself; each one of them, placement. I'm really an animal guy. I express myself in different ways as an animal.'
