If you were too busy yesterday to catch Justin Bieber's new movie Believe, then now is your time to go check it out. Not only were we at the movie's premiere in Los Angeles last week but we also talked to the movie's director Jon Chu and he had a lot to say about Mr. Bieber and his second movie starring the singer.
During a really chill phone interview, Jon told us that Believe actually wasn't supposed to happen for a few years.
"The movie naturally happened. I didn't think we'd have another film for a few years but because he evolved and went through so much last year the movie grew with him," he said.
During the time of the movie's taping, the Biebs was splitting from Selena Gomez and getting into arguments and fights with everyone. Jon admitted he basically wanted to catch all of that but from Justin's perspective. He wanted everyone to see how real Justin is and the things he's going through. He also told us that the movie never really had a definite end. He just went with things which he said was pretty difficult.
After we saw the film, we noticed Believe is very much a documentary more than Never Say Never. While there's still awesome concert and Belieber coverage, it gives us a different view and allows us as fans to see Justin's side of the story.
