Things apparently got really awkward between feuding folks Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus' personal assistant and BFF, Cheyne Thomas, this week.
For those of you who weren't glued to Twitter all day, Thomas poked fun of Lovato's cocaine abuse in an Instagram video -- which is now deleted but could still be found on YouTube -- and the "Neon Lights" songstress decided to take it up with him when both of them showed up at Friday night's Jingle Ball concert.
Lovato was the first to throw some shade, tweeting:

Knowing that the not-so-suble jab was directed at him, Thomas then sarcastically responded:
“@ddlovato: You are who your friends are”
So nice running into you!

In a tweet Lovato since deleted, the former The X Factor judge mocked Thomas for riding on his famous friend's coattails, sarcastically writing, "You just have SO MUCH going for you!!!!" She also joked that ex-Starbucks barista should dropped by her dressing room.
Thomas then retaliated with:
@ddlovato hahaha don't stoop below your level Demi, you're better than this. Hahah it is funny tho :)
