Performing in general has got to be a lot of pressure, but Taylor Swift just took the stakes up a notch by accepting the offer to perform for Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, on November 26th in London! Talk about being in the hot seat.
The event, which will take place during the Winter White Gala at Kensington Palace, will raise money for Centrepoint, a charity that provides housing and more to homeless citizens of the U.K.
While talking to BBC Radio 2, Taylor spilled how she feels about the royal performance, saying, "I'm really excited. I'm really stoked. It's the first royal engagement I've done and I'm very, very honored."
At the event, Taylor plans on being extremely well-mannered just in case she meets the royal family, saying, "I think I'm just really safe if I just shake hands and be polite. I think that's being presumptuous in assuming I'll meet them, so first I'm going to be polite enough to not assume I'll meet them."
