Woah! It’s no secret Selena and Taylor wooed a Jonas brother or two — but at the same time? Looks like that might have been the case! According to Selena, she and Taylor were dating Jonas brothers at the exact same time. No wonder they’re such great friends!
Selena Gomez, 21, might be tight-lipped about ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, 19, but she had plenty to say about her other ex! In her latest interview, the “Come & Get It” singer revealed she and BFF Taylor Swift, 23, were dating the Jonas Brothers (Nick and Joe, respectively) at the same time.
Selena revealed that she and BFF Taylor have shared more than a love of sleepovers and fast-food dinners — they’ve dated the Jonas brothers at the same time! And it’s actually the thing that made them so close.
“Taylor and I dated Jonas brothers together,” Selena told the Herald Sun. “We met when she was 18. I was 15 or 16. She was so great to me. Then we became best friends.”
Neither of the girls’ Jonas relationships — Selena with Nick Jonas and Taylor with Joe Jonas – hit the one-year mark, but the ladies were able to knock out some amazing post breakup songs instead.
The BFFs had each other’s backs too during their tough breakups. Selena told the newspaper, “She would fly out to see me when I was going through something really hard. I learnt a lot from her. She’s an amazing musician. Everything I go through or say is filtered through her eyes and vision.”
How sweet. We wonder if the singers will be dating another set of famous brothers any time soon!
