After 10 years as a pop heartthrob, Joe Jonas was spotted vacationing in Miami Beach, Florida, on Friday, getting over the stress of the split of the Jonas Brothers.
The hunky 24-year-old, wearing a white v-neck T-shirt and dark blue jeans, interrupted his lunch with friends to console a fan with a hug.
Joe and his siblings Kevin, 25, and Nick, 21, confirmed the news of their break-up in an interview on Good Morning America on Wednesday.
And on Friday the brothers sent an open letter to their devoted fans around the world via Facebook thanking them for their love and support.
'It is with heavy hearts that we confirm that our time as the Jonas Brothers is over,' the group wrote.
'This decision has not come lightly, and we know that many of you will be disappointed.
'The time has come for us to move forward on individual career paths. We have been a band of brothers for 10 years and are now choosing simply to be brothers.
'We would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported and inspired us through the years, and stood by us in this difficult decision. We feel and appreciate your love.'
And the brothers had a gift for their Team Jonas fan club members - a digital album including four new studio recordings and 10 live tracks from their summer tour.
Joe has been under immense pressure as he was initially blamed by many for the band cancelling their tour shortly before they set off on the 19-city show in early October.
Initial reports blamed the rift on his alleged drug addiction after the singer was spotted out with Cast Recovery rehab CEO Mike Bayar, according to Hollywood Life.
However, on Tuesday it was revealed that trouble arose during a business meeting on October 3 when Nick, not Joe, spoke of his serious concerns about the band's future.
'I was feeling kind of trapped,' Nick said. 'I needed to share my heart with my brothers.'
On Friday, Nick was out with friends at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood.
