Perrie Edwards may be waiting awhile to walk down the aisle as a new report claims that her fiance Zayn Malik's One Direction commitments has meant the young love birds have had to put their wedding plans on hold.
Perrie and Zayn announced their engagement earlier this summer when the Little Mix star flashed her sparkly ring at One Direction's This Is Us premiere in London. Both stars have remained pretty coy on the subject of nuptials since then, but there have been plenty of rumours that they could be tying the knot before Christmas.
A new report seems to suggest though that any plans for a quickie wedding could be dashed as Zayn's diary fills up with One Direction's hectic schedule.
With reports that the band are to record another album during their 2014 arena tour, it looks like there's no room for a white wedding anytime soon.
Perrie "is yet to make any plans for the big day" and "has been left wondering when it's going to happen", according to reports by Star magazine.
"She's beginning to feel like the wedding plans are at the mercy of One Direction's dairy," an insider told the gossip mag.
Despite the new crop of rumours Perrie recently insisted to the Mirror: "I haven’t started making any decisions yet wedding-wise. But I’m excited to start planning it all. I can’t wait."
The DNA singer did add though that all three of her bandmates will be offered the prestigious jobs of bridesmaids, explaining that she couldn't just have one and not the others.
Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh Anne Pinnock will no doubt be thrilled with the honours, with Perrie telling The Mirror: "Imagine if I didn’t have them? I wouldn’t take one off to the side and say 'Oh you’ve made the cut' and then say to the other two 'Sorry guys'."
