Jennifer Lawrence is having the last laugh now as her career skyrockets, but the Oscar-winning actress admits she was pressured to lose weight when she first started her career.
"I was young," she tells the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar UK. "Somebody told me I was fat, that I was basically going to get fired if I didn't lose a certain amount of weight. They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet. I was hurt. It doesn't matter what accolades you get."
And although she stars in the hit Hunger Games movies, J. Law says she'll never drop pounds to get a role. "I know it'll never happen to me again," she explains. "If anybody even tries to whisper the word 'diet,' I'm like, 'You can go f*ck yourself.'"
Her attitude and confidence is so refreshing...you go, girl!
