In a recent interview, Demi Lovato was asked about her thoughts on Miley Cyrus and how she's shed her Disney image in a very controversial way.
Demi is okay with it all, has nothing but love for Miley, and says she's "happy for her."
Hey, Demi's not going to stir the pot--she's got plenty of other things to keep her busy.
Demi explained, "I've said this a million times: I know Britney [Spears] and Miley very well, Miley has been one of my best friends growing up, and so I'm happy for her."
She added, "She's doing what she wants to do, and this is her time to break out and figure out what she wants to do in her career, and her image and everything."
Like we said, nothing but love, as Demi noted, "I'm happy seeing her happy because I love her so much...She doesn't care what people think, nor should she."
