Crazed One Direction fans steal Liam Payne's boxers shorts after breaking into his Palm Beach apartment

FANS have gotten into the pants of One Direction's Liam Payne - in fact they've stolen them!
Six teenage girls and an eight-year-old boy have broken into his Palm Beach apartment and stolen his red Calvin Klein underwear.

A 38-year-old female witness told the Daily Telegraph she watched as the frenzied fans jumped over a door to get into Payne's apartment room at Jonah's.

"Six girls broke into the room with an 8-year-old boy," she said.

"They jumped over a glass door. The door was unlocked to his room."

The girls are apparently going to hold onto the boxers instead of selling them online.

"They are going to keep the underwear, they are so excited," she said.

"They are Calvin Klein underwear.

"They only took the underwear. They wanted to take a wetsuit but someone bought it inside."

The witness said security was furious and considering laying charges.

"I am getting blamed by security because they think they are my kids," she said.

"Security are onto me, they were trying to get my details for breaking and entering into their room.

"They think I took the underwear and I'm going to get charged.

"One Direction are not nice security. They are extremely angry."

Payne was left red-faced over the incident, tweeting about it this morning.

"Hmmm somebody stole my boxers I'm so embarrassed," posted the 20-year old on the social media site.

It's not the first time female fans have been stirred into a stealing frenzy.

Earlier this year The Daily Star reported that the band had employed someone to act as 'laundry security' after everything from the boys' T-shirts to underwear kept getting stolen by Directioners while they were on tour.

In several incidences their clothing has been nicked before being washed, with the female staff member's job said to be to make sure fans didn't pinch garments from unattended dressing rooms, tour buses and hotel services.
