One Direction's Liam Payne’s ‘tough days' after explosion


The pop hunk broke his silence last night after the gas blast that left his close pal Andy ­Samuels with 20% burns.

Liam was hailed as a hero for his dash to save Andy from the blaze that destroyed the balcony of his luxury London flat.

The 20-year-old singer took to Twitter to thank fans for showering him with support over the past few days.

He said: “Thanks for all the support at this time. It’s been a tough few days and it’s only made me value everything so much more.” In a separate tweet he then wrote: “@AndySamuels31 the invincible man”.

The singer, who revealed his dream of being a fireman in 1D film This Is Us, told followers his pal was on the mend.

Liam had doused his stricken friend with water and beat at the flames.

He said: “He’s doing really well. I’m just so happy he’s gunna be ok no one wants to see there best mate like this.”
