Someone alert U.S. officials! Miley Cyrus has been asked out on a date by a U.S. Marine!
It all went down on YouTube, where a young Marine named Sergeant Jay Owings posted a video asking the wild singer to attend the annual Marine Ball with him in North Carolina.
The Marine says he thinks Miley is "awesome despite what anyone else says," and that she has his love.
The ball goes down on November 7th and he's being discharged on November 15th.
So far there hasn't been a response from Miley, but the Marine's chances are pretty high. Kim Kardashian, Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake all attended military balls with fans who posted videos proposals online.
