Only days ago, as she walked the red carpet at the MTV VMAs, Naya confirmed the rumors that Demi would appear on Glee as her lesbian lover.
Naya told MTV, "She's playing my love interest so I'm very, very excited about that. We get to sing a song together...She comes in in a Beatles episode, so [we're singing] a Beatles song."
Thursday marked Demi's first day of filming Glee. Naya wasted no time, Instagramming a "selfie" of the pair on set. She captioned the picture 'dantana', combining the pair's character names as they get ready for their impending love affair.
The "selfie" is a behind-the-scenes picture of Demi and Naya wearing matching red tops with white buttons and stud earrings. The two are also posing for the camera with Demi blowing a kiss and Naya flashing a smile.
TVLine is reporting that Demi will play "Dani, a NYC-based struggling artist friend of Rachel [Lea Michele] and Santana."
According to the site, Demi will be in at least six episodes of Glee this season.
