Did Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth stay together so long because they thought she was pregnant?!
According to OK! magazine, the formerly engaged couple were on the outs for awhile but only stuck together because they thought she was knocked up!
"Miley thought she was expecting and wanted to announce it to the world, even before she went to the doctor to verify the results," a friend close to her told OK! mag.
"Liam begged her not to go public yet...he was emotionally out of the romance for months by that point, though he was still sleeping with her. She agreed to stay quiet for Liam's sake," the source continued.
Liam felt trapped by the baby situation because Miley reportedly told him that if he left her alone, she would tell the world that he had abandoned her at such an emotional time.
"She begged him to stay and said that he could have his space, as long as he didn't break up with her. So Liam obliged. He got his freedom and she got the right to say they were still engaged," the same source explained.
As for the pregnancy, OK! claims that it was a false alarm.
Hmm! Do you think Miley and Liam thought they were expecting and that's why they stayed together? We wouldn't be surprised, it does make sense! But we can't see Miley begging anyone for anything! She's a pretty tough girl...
