Demi Lovato is firing back for all the judgment against artists--is she sticking up for Miley Cyrus?
Miley has certainly faced plenty of backlash for her racy VMAs performance and naked "Wrecking Ball" music video.
Demi tweeted: "I think people are too judgmental on artists today. Artists have and always will have the right to express themselves in any way they want.."
She added: "Don't judge, just love."
Whether or not that's aimed at Miley, we don't know, but based on the judgy comments from folks like 90210's Shenae Grimes, Demi sounds like she's sticking up for Miley.
Shenae tweeted: "WTF is up with Miley's new music video? I mean, I don't know the girl but if I did I'd demand she bath twice, put some clothes on and give her a big hug...looks like she needs it."
Simon Cowell added his two cents to the Miley controversy in a recent Tonight Show interview, and he seems to echo Demi's no judging sentiments, though he does describe Demi as "difficult!"
