Liam Payne of One Direction is said to be smitten with his new girlfriend Sophia Smith.
Their romance is Liam’s first relationship since splitting from Danielle Peazer May, and the singer is said to be so taken with her that he flew her out to Los Angeles with his family so they could spend time together.
Sophia was spotted watching One Direction take to the stage at the Staples Centre in LA earlier this month, hanging out with Zayn Malik’s girlfriend Perrie Edwards, and Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend Eleanor Calder. The couple then visited a tattoo parlour after the gig.
Of their deepening relationship, a friend of Liam’s told The Mirror: ‘Liam has really fallen for her. It’s getting very serious, very fast.’
Another source revealed Liam’s superstar status was not what attracted Sophia to him.
‘She’s a sweet normal girl who likes Liam for who he is, not because he’s in the most famous boyband in the world’ they said.
