When can we expect Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran to date? Uh, maybe when they're 30!
According to a new report in UK's Star Magazine, Taylor and Ed have promised each other that if they're both single when they're around 30 years old, they will date.
Basically they made a pact they would be each other's back up plan! Nice!
"Ed and Taylor are very close and that's why they've jokingly discussed the possibility of getting together if they're both on the market in seven years' time," an alleged source close to the singers told the mag.
So why don't they just date now?
"Neither of them wants to settle down at the moment- or jeopardise [sic] their friendship with a potentially damaging fling," the same source said.
Makes sense to us! We've all pretty much been there before and think it's best they don't jump into a relationship. And honestly, we don't think we could handle that many awesome breakup/relationship songs if Taylor and Ed were writing about each other anyway!
