Sofia Coppola has opened up about directing Emma Watson in her latest movie The Bling Ring.
According to Coppola, Watson, 23, was hard working and formed close relationships with her co-stars in the true crime film.
"She was great to work with," Sofia told GLAMOUR. "I was really impressed with how much she could transform herself. She's so different as this LA party girl - so different from how she really is.
"She was really hard working and great to work with, and she really became a group with the other kids."
The Bling Ring depicts the true story of a group of LA teenagers who stage a series of burglaries on high profile celebrities, including Rachel Bilson and Paris Hilton.
Hilton allowed filming to take place in her house to add to the realism of the movie. "She let us film in her house where the robberies really happened," Sofia told us.
"It was incredible to shoot in her house. It's so unique, it would be impossible to build a house the way that she had it. It was exciting for us to see how she really lives.
"She was really supportive. She was upset, obviously, with what had happened, but she wanted to support us in making a movie about it."

The Bling Ring is out this Friday 5 July.
