Little Mix in Teen Vogue: "One Direction gave us advice — and we want to be as big as the Spice Girls"

Could things get any more cushty for pop princesses Little Mix?

Their album DNA is going down a storm and breaking records in the US and now they're appearing in mini fashion bible Teen Vogue.

Talking to the iconic teen fashion brand, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards spoke about their individual style - on and off stage - and what their mates One Direction have taught them about fame and success.

Jade Thirwall said: "The 1D boys are really supportive of us. We met them on The X Factor and we asked for advice then to help us get through the show."

“They said the main thing is to just enjoy it because it goes so quickly. They said just to enjoy every minute of it and to work hard and just be ourselves because that’s what people like at the end of the day."

Unfortunately Perrie Edwards remained mute about her year-long relationship with 1D-er Zayn Malik but did give an Obama-style inspirational talk about making it.

The pink-haired singer said: "Whatever it is you want to do, never give up, never let anyone put you down or tell you you can't do it.

"If you believe in yourself you'll go far. If you want something that bad, it'll happen if you work for it."

Sorry, we're just pausing to wipe away a tear.

The girls also said they get their harmonies off girl groups like the Spice Girls and Destiny's Child.

Leigh-Anne said: "If we could have a little bit of the Spice Girls' success we'd be happy."

Now spill the beans on Zayn Malik's new tattoo of Perrie's face, please...
