Paging President Barack Obama: Several A-list celebrities are here to meet you!
In between meeting world leaders, traveling across the globe and signing important legislation, American presidents have been known to make time for some of Hollywood's biggest stars.
Obama himself has mingled with power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé. In fact, the politician is such a fan that he invited the "Single Ladies" singer to perform at his inauguration. What an honor!
Pop superstars Justin Bieber and Katy Perry have also had the esteemed privilege to meet and pose for pictures with the president. Perry was able to celebrate the occasion with her grandma too.
Grammy-winning singers aren't the only high-profile stars who have met face to face with Obama. Some of the nation's best athletes have scored quality time with the commander in chief.
After LeBron James and the Miami Heat won the NBA finals, the athletes continued their victory celebration with a visit to the Oval Office. James and his teammates delivered a custom-made jersey to the basketball fan. Even though he's loyal to the Chicago Bulls, it's safe to say Obama enjoyed the meeting.
In addition, after Team USA dominated the Summer Olympic Games in London, Obama was able to meet some of the proud medal holders including McKayla Maroney.
The gold-medal gymnast had a little fun when she posed with the President in her signature "not impressed" face. Don't worry guys, it's no question the young athlete was thrilled with her special meeting.
President Obama isn't the first prez to meet the biggest names in pop culture.
Forrest Gump actor Tom Hanks stood tall and proud next to former President George W. Bush during a World War II memorial service. Former President Bill Clinton has spent time with music legends including David Bowie and Barbra Streisand.
Even former President Ronald Reagan was able to meet the late Michael Jackson. The King of Pop was rewarded with a Presidential Special Achievement Award after lending his song "Beat It" to a campaign against drunk driving.
As we celebrate the Fourth of July with American pride, it's the perfect time to look back at some of our leaders who have had the chance to meet some of Hollywood's biggest names.
