Liam Payne has opened up about juggling romance with being in One Direction with the Kiss You star admitting finding it a "hard" to keep a relationship going in the spotlight.
The 1D babe, who is currently in the US on the North American leg of their Take Me Home eight month world tour, split from girlfriend of two and a half years Danielle Peazer in May this year.
Speaking to Glamour magazine he admitted having a relationship in the spotlight was difficult.
"It’s something that is quite hard," he said, "people being a bit rude to [ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer] on the Internet."
The couple reportedly split due to the difficulty of fitting their relationship around Liam's hectic schedule. Going on to admit he found touring a problem when dating Danielle, he revealed: "And it’s a challenge having a relationship on the road. Credit to anybody that does it, really."
A rep for the world-conquering boyband confirmed their split to EntertainmentWise in May, saying: "Liam and Danielle have split. It is all very amicable and the pair remain friends."
A source told The Sun at the time: "They have been trying for months to make it work but it just hasn’t. They had a big chat last month and decided there wasn’t any point in dragging it out.
"Liam’s on tour until November and Danielle’s very busy so they basically never see each other."
While Liam might be one of the biggest hotties on the planet, it seems he doesn't have much confidence in his abilities when it comes to women. During the lads' shoot for the Glamour front cover they posed with British supermodel Rosie Huntington Whitely, with Liam confessing he didn't know what to say to her.
"I’m not the best at talking to women," he said, "When you’re with someone like Rosie, it’s a bit more difficult. I was like, I don’t really know what to say, so I’m just gonna kind of stand here and try to be cool."
