HARRY Potter star Emma Watson has been voted Sun readers’ overwhelming favourite for a female Doctor Who.
The beautiful brunette, 23, came out as clear winner with 29% of the vote, followed by funnygirl Miranda Hart with 15% and the sci-fi series's actress Jenna Louise-Coleman on 14%.
Sun readers clearly opted for a bit of magic – and glamour – if the Time Lord should become a Lady.
Doctor Who Matt Smith’s current companion Louise-Coleman, 27, is many viewers’ favourite for a woman Doctor and claimed 14% of the vote in our poll.
While another comedienne Sue Perkins, 43, is another tip for a female Doctor; the TV panel show regular clinched 11% of Sun readers' ballots to come fourth.
The Royle Family's Sheridan Smith, 32, was in fifth with 9% while Spooks spymaster Lara Pulver, 32, received 7% as Sun readers' choice for a feminine choice to defeat the daleks.
This is England star Vicky McClure, 30, took a respectable 6% to clinch seventh spot and voice of the Archers' Emma Carter Felicity Jones, 29, came in eighth with 5%.
Trailing in ninth spot Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery, 31, scraped a miserly 3% but The Hour's Romola Garai, 30, would be the last to enter the TARDIS on a lowly 2%.
