What's Demi Lovato got planned for her 21st birthday?
It's not a wild night in Vegas or an overblown party...but it's definitely unique.
In a new interview with 95.5 WPLJ, Demi reveals her birthday plans for ringing in the landmark year: she's going to Africa.
Demi explained, "I'm actually going to go to Africa. I'm just going to do a bunch of charity stuff."
She added, "I feel like the best way to celebrate anyone's birthday is just giving back and helping others."
Demi is all about celebrating life since she's been in rehab, despite the fact that most take their 21st birthday to have a wild night of drinking.
She explained, "Birthdays are all about celebrating life...the last thing I think anyone should be doing on their birthday is poisoning themself."
