Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's relationship is constantly surrounded by speculation and now the pair's music careers have been thrown into the rumours, with a source allegedly saying that Justin "thinks that his music is better than his ex girlfriend's." Ouch!
Biebs may have been on the music scene for a little longer than the Wizards of Waverly Place actress, but does that mean that he's a better artist? Apparently he thinks so!
When asked if the teen heartthrob was a fan of Selena's new music, a source told Hollywoodlife: “He likes it; he thinks it’s OK.”
But does he think it is better than his music? ”No, definitely not,” the insider adds.
The couple initially split in December after two years together, though recently sparked rumours they maybe giving things another go when the Spring Breakers babe visited the Boyfriend star in Oslo during the European leg of his Believe world tour.
Following the visit Bieber posted a series of loved up snaps of the pair together on Instagram. However according to sources, the Disney star is keen to distance herself from Bieber and his current image.
The star has been involved in a series of incidents recently, including an alltercation with a neighbour as well as complaints of "reckless driving" both of which are currently being investigated by police.
"Selena’s no angel herself, but Justin is certainly not the type of boy she needs,” an insider told RadarOnline.
“She’s finally taken some of their advice to heart and swears it’s finally over with him, for good. She doesn’t see herself getting back together with him and just needs to move on."
“Selena’s mom is pregnant and her music career is booming,” the source said.
The insider went on to claim that the singer is keen to make sure her blossoming career isn't affected by her personal life.
As well as reigniting her music career the brunette has also made the difficult transition from child star to screen goddess in the controversial Spring Breakers.
“Justin is on a downward spiral and Selena wants nothing to do with it. For a minute she thought she could ‘save him’ which is why they got back together the last time. But she’s over him and his childish behaviour," the insider explained.
