Selena Gomez, 20, now has a new sibling! The “Come & Get It” singer’s mom Mandy Teefey, 37, welcomed a daughter on June 12 — and Justin Bieber, 19, wants to send his congrats with flowers!
Even though they’ve recently broken up after two years together — and Selena’s mom Mandy isn’t Justin’s biggest fan — he still wants to go the extra mile and really congratulate Selena and Mandy on the new addition to their family.
A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Justin reached out to Selena upon hearing the good news. “Justin knows the joy of younger siblings and is very happy for Selena and her Mom. He wished Selena the best and is working on getting a gift,” says the source.
If Selena’s okay with it, Justin will send flowers to Mandy! He is really trying to be supportive of Selena — that’s so nice!
Selena’s mom Mandy was pregnant once before in 2011. However, Mandy suffered a tragic miscarriage on December 16, 2011. Selena canceled her two concerts after hearing the devastating news and immediately flew home to be with her mom.
Justin probably knows all about that sad time and recognizes how important this moment is for Selena and Mandy. He is definitely doing the right thing by reaching out!
