Taylor Swift spent her Memorial Day weekend in Rhode Island (where she recently purchased a $17 million mansion) with 16-year-old Hailee Steinfeld and 28-year-old Jessica Szhor.
Taylor tosses her phone on the kitchen table with a sigh. “What is it?,” Hailee asks, putting her macramé down. “It’s Selena . . . she’s just so . . .” Jessica pulls a lavender beanbag chair close to Taylor and sits. “What’s going on?,” Jessica asks, placing a hand on Taylor’s knee. “Oh my God, I love you guys,” Taylor squeals. Taylor sets her mug of kombucha down on the counter, and she puts her hair up in a bun. The corners of her mouth turn up. “It’s one of those things where, like, I can’t tell if I’m just imagining it or if she’s actually being completely weird, you know?” Jessica and Hailee nod their heads vigorously.
